Mark Miller joins Elucid as chief revenue officer ahead of the company's launch of its comprehensive cardiovascular platform, which is comprised of its FDA-cleared Plaque-IQ™ and its BioIntegrated FFR-CT software, pending FDA clearance.

Miller has more than 25 years of experience building and scaling sales organizations across cardiovascular imaging, cardiac diagnostics, and AI-enabled clinical decision support, grounded in a clinical foundation in cardiopulmonary science. He spent a decade between GE Healthcare and Philips, selling directly into cardiology practices and electrophysiology labs. Also, Miller served as vice president of sales at Cassling, a regional distribution and solutions partner for Siemens Healthineers, where he held full P&L responsibility across imaging, procedural, and clinical workflow solutions, scaling bookings and leading a commercial team of more than 40 professionals across sales, customer success, revenue operations and solution sales.

"Mark brings a combination of sales leadership, hands-on clinical credibility in our CT cardiology ecosystem, and the repeatable go-to-market agility and discipline we need to scale our commercial momentum upon FDA clearance of our BioIntegrated FFR-CT software," said Elucid CEO Kelly Huang. "This is a big step towards our commercial launch, and I couldn't be more confident in the team we're building to meet the moment."

"Elucid is doing something genuinely rare in this space. It is applying rigorous, histology-validated science to give physicians a clearer picture of cardiovascular risk," said Miller. "Having spent my career on the front lines of the CT cardiology ecosystem, I've seen firsthand how clinicians need better tools to guide treatment decisions. I'm excited to build the commercial engine that gets this technology into the hands of the physicians and patients who need it most."

About Elucid

Elucid is a Boston-based medical technology company that develops AI to see invisible features of cardiovascular risk. The company is dedicated to developing a clinical platform to help physicians deliver CCTA-guided personalized care by providing a more precise view of atherosclerosis, the root cause of cardiovascular disease. The company's FDA-cleared Plaque-IQ™ image analysis software is designed to help physicians prioritize and personalize treatment based on actual disease, rather than population-based risk of disease. Plaque-IQ equips physicians with critical information regarding the type and amount of plaque in arteries that can lead to heart attack and stroke. Elucid is also pursuing an indication for FFR-CT, which helps physicians identify coronary blockages and the extent of a patient's ischemia non-invasively. Elucid’s BioIntegrated FFR-CT software, which integrates anatomy, plaque biology, and physiology, is derived from its plaque algorithm, resulting in concordance with its plaque analysis. Oscar-winner Sir Mark Rylance plays the duplicitous vicar Pastor Blake in Tartuffe Remixed

Academy Award winner Sir Mark Rylance is starring in a "remixed" version of a 17th century play by Moliere at the Marylebone Theatre.

Tartuffe Remixed is set in London with an African family about to marry into a Jamaican family and has been produced by writer and director Darren Raymond with whom Sir Mark has a long working history.

Sir Mark plays the hilariously cunning Pastor Terrence Blake.

"He's the catalyst of the play. The play is really about the family, but he's a conman who comes in like any good conman in a very convincing disguise, in this case as an Anglican priest," said Rylance.

Sir Mark Rylance loves African and Caribbean culture

Sir Mark is the only white character in a play with an otherwise all black cast in what he describes as "an incredible meeting of two different cultures".

He added: "Because of the history of the relations of Europe and America with Africa and the Caribbean there is a rather wonderful and sometimes, no, always tragic resonance with the age of slavery."

He said: "I've learnt a lot more, but I've always loved African and Caribbean culture. I live in Brixton.

"Since I came back to England in '78, I've wanted to live in those communities. I like that culture."

Remixing old English plays using old-style language and modern London slang has become Darren Raymond's trademark

Sir Mark and Raymond have found both purpose and deep friendship through working together over two decades.

They are part of Intermission Youth: Raymond as founder and artistic director and Sir Mark, first as patron, then trustee when the youth theatre became a charity.

This is Raymond's first Off-West End play.

It also marks the launch of the Intermission Ensemble, a place for the classically trained graduates of Intermission Youth to start their professional careers as actors.

Many, but not all of the actors in Tartuffe Remixed have come through Intermission Youth

"It's a bit like Arsenal who go in and find the young football players by having a wide range of youth programmes, but then eventually have a professional team," explains Sir Mark, who is also starring in one of Raymond's plays for the first time.

'I saw a lot of myself in Othello'

Darren Raymond started Intermission Youth Theatre in 2008 as a way of helping disenfranchised young people in London feel included in society through the works of Shakespeare.

He had spent a brief period of time in the criminal justice system some years earlier and found an unexpected connection to the bard with the play Othello, during a workshop led by Rylance.

"Growing up, Shakespeare for me wasn't something I was particularly interested in, but we were looking at Othello, and Mark was doing brilliant stuff at the Globe at the time.

"He was able to come in and really introduce the text to us in a way that resonated," recalls Raymond.

"I saw a lot of myself in Othello. It was a character who was looking for love, belonging, identity. These were the very things I was searching for myself."

Morenike Onajobi gave up her fulltime job in HR to become a professional actor in Tartuffe

Many of the young people he works with are also looking for the same things, he adds.

Morenike Onajobi, a graduate of Intermission Youth, is making her professional debut as an actor, having left her full-time job in HR to do so.

She plays Kemi, the “voice of reason” in the play, and said working alongside Sir Mark meant "every single day is like a masterclass".

"Working with him and Darren combined is really fun. And they have fun, they really do."

Rylance and Raymond have plans to take the play to the West End proper, as well as to work together on more professional plays through Intermission Ensemble in the future.

I ask whether Tartuffe Remixed then, is not just the culmination of their work together, but the beginning of an expansion.

"I hope so!" exclaims Rylance. "I'm enjoying it so much, it's where I'm going to do my classical work."

What have they learned from each other after so many years working together?

"He's a brother to me," says Raymond of Rylance, "and a lovely human being. He's a person who has changed my life, and I love him to bits."

Rylance reaches over to grasp Raymond's arm.

"He's one of the great leaders," he says.

"My faith in people in people is revived when I'm with Darren.

"My hope, particularly where hope is rightly placed, is with young people.

"He's just got enormous gifts and on top of it all a sense of humour."

Tartuffe runs at the Marylebone Theatre till the 24 October.

Three songs recorded by Chrissy Amphlett in 1998 will be released on Friday

More than a decade after her death, the voice of Australian rock icon Chrissy Amphlett will be heard like never before after three lost songs were discovered in a garage.

The trailblazing frontwoman of rock band Divinyls, Amphlett's trademark husky voice and charismatic stage presence brought the world the 1990 number one track I Touch Myself as well as earlier hits Pleasure and Pain (1985) and Boys in Town (1981).

Years before her 2013 death, Amphlett recorded three songs with Tim Finn, former lead singer of New Zealand's Split Enz, in 1998. The tracks were thought to be lost until Finn found them in his garage in 2023.

On Friday, the songs will be released on an EP titled Some Times.

In an interview with Australian Story, a documentary programme by national broadcaster ABC, Finn recalled the 1998 recording session with Amphlett in Sydney.

"It was a good time for us to meet because she was looking for something new, something different in her life musically," Finn said.

Around that time, Amphlett had split from fellow band member, guitarist Mark McEntee after a tumultuous relationship and was growing close to drummer Charley Drayton, according to the documentary. The pair would later marry.

Over several days, Finn and Amphlett wrote a trio of songs and headed into the studio to record them, with Drayton on the drums.

"She was so focused," Finn said. "She just wanted to get it right... I was in the presence of great talent, great charisma."

In a social media post on Monday about the 1998 session, Finn said he had reached out to Amphlett having been a great admirer of her work.

"We hadn't met previously but instantly felt a bond, a camaraderie of shared history as ex-lead singers of two brilliant bands," Finn wrote on Monday.

When the session wrapped up, Finn took the recordings home and planned to work on it, but "they were never fully realised".

In 2023, Drayton contacted Finn, about the 1998 recordings.

"I thought they were lost to the universe but remarkably found the two-inch tape in my garage," Finn wrote in the post, describing the songs as "incredibly important to me, Charley and those close to Chrissy".

"It was still in perfect condition and we are now able to share these songs with you."

When you become the starting quarterback of one of the biggest franchises in the NFL, every action of yours is public, and Dallas Cowboys star Dak Prescott is in the same situation. His estranged Fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos, is now shifting towards “faith” after accusing Prescott of cheating.

“A whole lot of love held together by Faith,” Jane wrote in her Instagram post. “Our very solid little family. My girls, my rocks. Maybe the greatest thing I ever built was us ????”

The post showed Jane spending time with her daughters on the shore of a beach. Ramos and Prescott have two daughters, Margaret Jane “MJ” and Aurora Rayne Prescott, with the latter being born last year on May 22nd.

Ramos and Prescott were also slated to marry in April in Lake Como, Italy, before the two decided to call off their wedding in March following a joint bachelor-bachelorette trip to the Bahamas.

The two called off their wedding, sending a cancellation email to the guests, writing that they “made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding,” and that “we deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we welcome your prayers.”

According to TMZ, the former couple had an intense argument during their trip to the Bahamas, with Page Six reporting that Prescott had been talking to other women online, and Jane found out about this in the Bahamas. The publication further said that even after Prescott’s cheating “history,” Ramos gave him a chance to “clean up his act” in January.

Prescott also gave a personal interview to Newy Scruggs of NBC, talking about how he felt after the relationship fell apart. Prescott reportedly also used the word “faith” a couple of times during his interview, saying that he was a “follower of Christ” and “blessed.” He further said that he was blessed to have “two amazing daughters” and that the adversity was inevitable, but his way of getting out of it was to know “how to respond to it.”

Ramos, on the other hand, recently started to dig more into her situation and relationship history while debunking the pregnancy rumors after WAGs Unfiltered suggested the same on Instagram.

“Hi everyone,” Ramos said. “Not pregnant!! Just very thick, eating again, and happier than I’ve been in a long time! That’s usually what happens when you aren’t getting cheated on repeatedly and finally leave a situation that makes you unhappy. Hard for most of you money-obsessed people to believe, I know. I suggest all of you find something else to do with your free time because being this concerned with what I’m up to and if I’m pregnant is high-key very weird, and I’m pretty sure most of you need therapy. PS money doesn’t buy happiness and y’all should stop obsessing over it. God bless!”

The relationship is reportedly on the brink of not being able to recover anymore, but this hasn’t stopped Prescott and Ramos from keeping their daughters ahead of themselves. While the pair first thought of fighting for custody of their children, they settled it outside the courtroom. The two are now seen reuniting for their daughters’ birthdays or related family events, with Prescott being spotted during MJ’s birthday event in May.

For now, Ramos, a wine and spirits specialist and hospitality professional, is spending time with her family and focusing on her health. Prescott is also focusing on his game and the ongoing season, having said before that his outside life wouldn’t affect his game. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer is also hoping for the same, as it would be best for the team as well, which is currently 1-2 in the league and will face the already-drowning Houston Texans with a 0-3 record.
