Prince HarryandMeghan Markle’s latest trip to Australia has reportedly stirred up the feud within the royal family, withPrince WilliamandKate Middletonseemingly frustrated by the ongoing fallout. The issue allegedly goes beyond the trip itself. Sources claim that William thinks poorly of how Harry and Markle continue to appear in public, allegedly associating the trip with “a quasi royal vibe.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s trip causing ‘frustration’ for Prince William and wife, per source

Us Weeklyexclusively reported that Prince William is not taking Meghan Markle andPrince Harry’s recent trip to Australia very well. A source told the outlet, “There is a quasi royal vibe with these trips and it’s confusing,” adding, “It seems they are trading on old connections in a way that shouldn’t be acceptable because they are no longer working members of the royal family.”

This frustration has reportedly built up over time. The source claimed, “Every single time William and Kate [Middleton] think they have turned a corner with them, something else pops up,” explaining, “Their media omnipresence is something that has created continued strain.” They also claimed that the Sussexes’ pile one controversy on top of another, and their presence in the media is a “barrier to repair the relationship.”

The source further claimed, “There hasn’t been any communication.” There is hope that “they will eventually figure it out,” but for now, “there is still distance there,” with the insider also maintaining that William has “firm boundaries” and is currently “not pushing for a reunion.”

Royal expert Marlene Koenig echoed that view to Us Weekly, noting that William keeps his feelings “close to himself and his family.” She added, “William is determined to keep much of his life private as he focuses on family and his future role as King, which are more important to him.”

Harry might have started to mend ties withKing Charles, but when it comes to William, the feud reportedly remains as it is. Moreover, his recent trip to Australia with Markle apparently did not help his case.

Bianca Censori Goes 'Critic' Mode With Architecture Students

Bianca Censoriis stepping into a more academic spotlight. Known for her work in design and her public profile, she recently took part in a university setting that highlighted her architectural background. The appearance has sparked fresh interest in her professional credentials, especially among those who primarily associate her with celebrity headlines. According to reports, her latest role placed her directly in conversation with the next generation of architects.

Bianca Censori serves as guest critic at Colombia University event

Bianca Censori recently appeared as a guest critic at an event hosted by Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation. According todetailsshared by the institution, she participated in a semester-end review session for students enrolled in Advanced Studio IV, a key part of the school’s professional architecture program.

The session reportedly took place on Tuesday and included multiple guest critics alongside faculty members. These critics are typically invited to provide an outside perspective on student work. In this setting, Censori was said to have reviewed design submissions and offered feedback as part of the evaluation process.

While her appearance drew attention, it also highlighted her academic background. Censori holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in architecture from the University of Melbourne. Her work has included collaborative design projects for her husband, Kanye West, some of which reportedly involved significant structural changes to existing buildings.

Censori’s approach to architecture has previously sparked discussion. In a past interview withVanity Fair, she suggested that altering or even dismantling elements of a structure can be part of a creative process. She described such changes as “beautiful” and “symbolic.” Those views offer insight into the lens she may bring to critique sessions like this one.

At Columbia’s GSAPP, guest critics are expected to challenge students while also guiding them. Censori’s participation suggests she was invited to contribute that balance of critique and perspective. That said, the exact nature of her feedback during the session has not been publicly detailed.

Keke Palmer's Plunging Monse Corseted Micro Minidress Is Fully See-Through

Keke Palmerknows how to command a red carpet moment, and her latest appearance at the Billboard Women in Music 2026 event proves exactly that. Without relying on heavy theatrics, she lets strong styling and confidence do the work in aMonsemicro minidress. She delivered a look that felt both daring and intentional. It is the kind of appearance that immediately sparks conversation, not just for its boldness, but for how effortlessly she carried it.

Keke Palmer wows in completely see-through plunging corseted micro minidress from Monse

For the evening, Palmer stepped out in a strikingMonse Spring/Summer 2026piece. It blurred the line between couture craftsmanship and barely-there dressing. The micro minidress featured a plunging corseted structure, but what truly defined it was its fully see-through construction. Delicate chains and shimmering embellishments were draped across the body, creating coverage through intricate layering rather than traditional fabric. The result felt almost sculptural, as the dress moved with her and caught the light from every angle.

The asymmetrical silhouette added to the drama, with one-shoulder detailing and hanging chain fringe that extended from the hem to her ankle. This gave the piece a fluid, almost undone finish. It was a look that demands confidence, and Palmer leaned into it completely. She struck a good balance between fashion risk and red carpet glamor.

She paired the dress withmetallic heelsthat complemented the ensemble’s shine without overpowering it. Her accessories remained minimal, keeping the garment’s complexity front and center. Beauty-wise, she kept things polished yet impactful, with a sculpted makeup look and a sleek, short hairstyle that framed her face and enhanced the overall sharpness.

This was not a safe red carpet choice, and that’s exactly the point. Keke Palmer continues to push boundaries, proving that fashion at its best is about taking risks.

Queen Camilla Did Not Wear a Tiara at the White House State Dinner

Queen Camilla chose a striking outfit for aWhite House State Dinnerthis evening, complete with aglittering royal heirloom necklace. However, there was one piece of jewelry missing that royal watchers may have been looking out for—a tiara.

Town & Country

Camilla did not wear a tiara tonight, in a move that is a departure from Queen Elizabeth’s choice of dress for her four State Visits to the U.S. There was no explanation offered from Buckingham Palace about the reason for this choice. However, if Camilla had chosen to wear one, unlike at UK State Banquets where all the senior royals wear tiara, she would likely have been the only person there tonight in a tiara.

When Queen Elizabeth made the last State Visit by a British monarch to the U.S in 2007, she wore her favored Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara for a White House dinner in her honor. In 1991 she wore a sapphire Tiara often referred to as the Belgian Sapphire Tiara, in 1976 she wore a Kokoshnik tiara once owned by Queen Alexandra, and in 1957, she wore the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara.

While Queen Elizabeth always wore a tiara to White House state dinners, it is worth remembering that while Camilla is also a Queen, her position is different. Camilla is not a sovereign Queen; her husband King Charles is the one who is head of state.

On her arrival in to the U.S. on Monday, Camilla used a piece of her jewelry to pay tribute to her hosts, in a move that is often described as “diplomatic dressing" she chose aCartier brooch with the Union flag and Stars and Stripeson it which was given to Queen Elizabeth on her 1957 State Visit.

How a surgeon kept a Sudan hospital functioning on the war's front line

OMDURMAN, Sudan (AP) — For three years, Dr. Jamal Eltaeb made excruciating choices. Who should live and potentially die? Should he operate without the right medicines if it might save someone's life? How would he find fuel to keep the hospital's lights on?

Sudan Last Surgeon Standing

AsSudan's war raged around him, only one decision was easy: Keep working.

The orthopedic surgeon was leading Al Nao hospital in Omdurman, just outside the capital, Khartoum, as control of the urban area shifted betweenSudan's army and paramilitary fighters. As the front line moved closer and the hospital overflowed with patients, some colleagues lost their nerve and left.

The soft-spoken Eltaeb was a rare surgeon who remained. Even as the hospital was bombed more than once. Even as most medical supplies ran out.

“I weighed the options of staying here, and taking care of your patients and helping other people that need you as a skilled surgeon, rather than choose your own safety,” he told The Associated Press in an interview.

He is one of countless Sudanese who have pitched in to help as the world largely looks elsewhere, distracted byconflicts in the Middle Eastand Ukraine. He has seen the bodies behind the estimates of tens of thousands of people killed, and what it means — day to excruciating day — when the United Nations warns his country's health system is near collapse.

Nearly 40% of Sudan's hospitals no longer function. Many have been stripped for parts or used by armed groups as bases. Sudan’s army has since retaken the capital, and Al Nao remains one of the area's only functioning health centers.

Some operations were done on the hospital floor

Walking through the complex, the 54-year-old showed AP journalists the remnants of some of the hardest months of his life.

Over there was a window that was struck, killing the relative of a patient. And there in the courtyard was the last tent standing of the many erected during the peak of the conflict to accommodate mass casualties.

“We were working everywhere, in tents, outside, on the floor, doing everything to save patients’ lives,” he said.

The work earned Eltaeb the $1 million Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity, which honors individuals who risk their lives to save others. He gave some of the money to medical and humanitarian groups around the world.

Before the war, staffers said, Al Nao was a quiet hospital with its nearly 100 beds empty much of the time. But when fighting began in Khartoum and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces captured swaths of the city, patients hurried in.

Eltaeb's own hospital elsewhere closed shortly after the war began in April 2023, and he moved to Al Nao. By July, most of the staff had fled, leaving him in charge.

He and a handful of employees and volunteers struggled to keep the place running. Electricity was out for weeks as the facility relied on the army to supply fuel for generators. Medicines like antibiotics and painkillers ran out.

‘From that moment, we knew that we are a target’

In August, a month after Eltaeb took charge, the hospital was hit for the first time.

“From that moment, we knew that we are a target ... And from that time, they didn’t stop targeting us,” he said. The RSF later struck the hospital three more times.

Normality had crumbled. A father of three, Eltaeb sat in his office and handed out sweets to a steady stream of patients and staff vying for his attention.

Decisions were nearly impossible. On a particularly harrowing day in late 2024, he and his team scrambled to triage over 100 wounded people after a strike hit a nearby market. Eight of them died.

“You choose ... as if you can choose who is going to live and who is going to die,” he said.

The day only got worse. Eltaeb had to decide whether to amputate on children without full anesthetic because they were bleeding heavily and he didn't have time to transport them to the operating room.

Using local anesthetic, he removed an arm and leg of a 9-year-old boy and a leg of his 11 year-old sister.

He now scrolls through photos of such surgeries on his phone, attempting to explain to the world a horror few can grasp.

A member of the military media accompanied the AP during the visit, including during interviews. The AP retains full editorial control of its content.

Volunteers delivered supplies by bicycle

The hospital relied on volunteers to keep supplies coming. They would post what they needed on social media, and pharmacists would provide the keys for their long-closed shops and allow volunteers to take medicines and other items for free.

One volunteer, Nazar Mohamed, spent months riding around Omdurman, often on a bicycle, delivering supplies while explosions echoed.

Other donations came from organizations and individuals abroad. A network of Sudanese doctors overseas provided remote advice on coping with mass casualties or what to do when antibiotics or anesthesia ran low.

The hospital's remaining staffers got creative, making beds and crutches out of wood and using clothes instead of gauze for makeshift splints.

The war moves on and support does, too

Fighting has shifted away from the Khartoum area. Some funding-strained organizations that supported Eltaeb's hospital now assist places more in need.

He said there is enough money until June to pay salaries and keep generators running, but they will need some $40,000 a month for the hospital to function.

While some countries have pledged support to help Sudan's reconstruction, there's concern the war with Iran might divert attention and resources, especially from Gulf countries who have vowed to help the country recover.

Hospitals that were hit harder than Al Nao lie in ruins and need much more.

Across town, Dr. Osman Ismail Osman, director of Al Shaabi hospital, said the several hundred thousand dollars the government has provided is a drop in the bucket.

The RSF occupied his hospital during the war. Dusty, broken medical equipment worth millions of dollars is piled up, and chunks of concrete are scattered with metal beds.

The goal of opening the badly damaged hospital for emergency referrals within weeks is ambitious, but medical workers like Eltaeb have learned how to approach the impossible.

“I believe I did my best as a doctor as a Sudanese," the surgeon said.

  • The Trumps want ABC to fire Kimmel.

Jimmy Kimmelis clapping back atMelaniaandDonald Trump's own clap-backs at the late-night host, demanding ABC kick him to the curb.

"You know how sometimes you wake up in the morning and the first lady puts out a statement demanding you be fired from your job?" Kimmel joked at the start of Monday's episode ofJimmy Kimmel Live.

At issue isthe "alternative" White House Correspondents' DinnerKimmel staged on Thursday night's show. Responding to the White House Correspondent's Association breaking with tradition and not hiring a comedian to poke fun at the president and his administration at its annual fundraising dinner, Kimmel performed a mock roast, juxtaposed with "reactions" pulled from stock footage of the Trumps, Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Vanilla Ice, Dog the Bounty Hunter, and more. Among the jokes was one about the first lady having "a glow like an expectant widow."

Two days later, the actual correspondents dinner was interrupted when analleged gunman opened fireat the Washington Hilton, where the event was being held.

Before Monday's newKimmel Live, thefirst lady spoke outagainst the late night host's "hateful and violent rhetoric" and demanded thatABC"take a stand."

"His words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America,"she wroteon social media. "People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate. A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him. Enough is enough. It is time for ABC to take a stand. How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community."

But Kimmel shrugged off Melania's incensed rhetoric during Monday's monologue, sharing his gratitude that "no one was hurt" at the Correspondents' Dinner, "thank goodness," and offering an explanation for his "widow" joke.

The remark was "obviously was a joke about their age difference and the look of joy we see on her face every time they're together," he said sardonically. "It was a very light roast joke about the fact that [Trump] is almost 80 and she's younger than I am. It was not by any stretch of the definition a call to assassination, and they know that I've been very vocal for many years speaking out against gun violence in particular."

Kimmel then noted where he shared common ground with Melania, stating, "I agree that hateful and violent rhetoric is something we should reject. I do. And I think a great place to start to dial that back would be to have a conversation with your husband about it."

"I am sorry that you and the president and everyone in that room on Saturday went through that. I really am. Just because no one get got killed doesn't mean it wasn't traumatic and scary," Kimmel continued. "We should come together andbe best. We really should. But if you want us to believe that a joke I made 3 days before this dinner had any effect on anything that happened, well then maybe someone should look into this psychic lady, too."

Kimmel then called attention to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt joking that "there will be some shots fired" ahead of the Correspondents' Dinner. "You know who's going to be furious when she hears that?" Kimmel joked.

Melania wasn't the only Trump to call for Kimmel's firing in the wake of his "widow" joke.

"Wow, Jimmy Kimmel, who is in no way funny as attested to by his terrible Television Ratings, made a statement on his Show that is really shocking," Donald Trump wrote in aTruth Socialpost on Monday. "I appreciate that so many people are incensed by Kimmel’s despicable call to violence, and normally would not be responsive to anything that he said but, this is something far beyond the pale. Jimmy Kimmel should be immediately fired by Disney and ABC."

Day-Lewis, who celebrates his 69th birthday today, has been married to wifeRebecca Millersince 1996. The two met while he was visiting her father, famed author Arthur Miller, in 1995 and the rest was history. The couple welcomed two sons together: Ronan in 1998 and Cashel 2002. The two boysjoined their older brotherGabriel-Kane, from Daniel's previous relationship with French actress Isabelle Adjani.

Following an eight-year break from filmmaking — he actuallyannounced his retirement after 2017'sPhantom Thread—the three-time Oscar winner came back in front of the cameras to collaborate with Ronan on 2025'sAnemone.The actor toldRolling Stonehe "had some residual sadness" about walking away from acting because he knew his second born would be entering the business.

"I knew Ronan was going to go on to make films, and I was walking away from that. I thought, wouldn’t it be lovely if we could do something together and find a way of maybe containing it, so that it didn’t necessarily have to be something that required all the paraphernalia of a big production,” he told the outlet.

“It was just kind of a low-level fear, [an] anxiety about re-engaging with the business of filmmaking. The work was always something I loved. I never, ever stopped loving the work.”

Though Daniel and his family have made public appearances together over the course of his decades-long career, those moments are few and in-between. Below, see rare photos of Daniel Day-Lewis with his wife and kids.

His first on-screen opportunity came in 1973 with a guest role onOzzie's Girls, a connection made possible through his sister Kristin and her husband, singer and actor Ricky Nelson, who were already part of the television world.

Still, breaking into the industry wasn't seamless. At one point, Mark found himself watchingDragnetwhen he saw the studio ident for Mark VII Limited.

Acting on impulse, he tracked down the company's number and called on a whim. On the other end was a secretary who could have easily dismissed the unknown caller — but didn't. That moment of chance led to a conversation with Jack Webb, the man behind the company.

“We talked for a couple minutes and [Webb] said, ‘Why don't you come in and talk to me?'” Mark recalled. “And I said ‘Okay,' and I went into Universal, and I went into Mark VII, which at that time... Universal was a big enchilada, man."

During their conversation, Mark noted that Webb "just kinda listened to me." Webb pointed to the actor's experience as a college quarterback as why he might make a good actor, noting that he "always pretended that [he] had the ball when [he] didn't," an element of "make believe" just like in acting.

That meeting ended up opening doors for Mark and led to a steady climb through film and television — including an early role playing Officer Gus Corbin in a 1975 episode ofAdam-12.

Mark later made guest appearances onPolice Womanin 1975 andLaverne & Shirleyin 1976. Around the same time, he transitioned into film, appearing in projects likeComes a HorsemanandBeyond the Poseidon Adventure.

His most defining role arrived when he was cast as Leroy Jethro Gibbs onNCIS, a character that would anchor the series for nearly two decades. Mark ultimatelystepped away from the role in 2021after 18 seasons, but has since reprised his character in afew scenes forNCIS: Origins.

"As an executive producer and dear friend, Mark continues to be an integral part of the fabric of the show. Our north star has always been staying true to our characters, and that truth has always guided the stories we tell and where those characters go," Steven Binder, executive producer, told PEOPLEin a statement at the time of the actor's departure.

"So regarding the future of Gibbs, as long-time fans of the show may have noticed over the years…never count Leroy Jethro Gibbs out."
