A New Jersey man is headed to prison for gunning down a girl playing outside with her brother and friends — killing the 9-year-old in front of their mom — after opening fire on a "family nemesis" he was beefing with online.

Isiah M. Roberts, who was 19 at the time of the 2022 slaying, was sentenced to 18 years in prison on Friday for the death of Sequoya Bacon-Jones, a fourth grader from Trenton who ran for cover after Roberts opened fire in an apartment courtyard where she was playing.

The shooting was related to a "stupid" Facebook beef that Roberts had with the intended target, according to the victim's family and the man's lawyer.

Roberts, now 23, pleaded guilty in April to aggravated manslaughter. He did not speak at his sentencing.

"I do forgive him," said Sequoya's mother, Sacha Bacon-Jones, in court on Friday, according to NJ.com. "God told me to and it only feels right to, because if I don't, I will harbor hatred and I don't want to harbor hatred."

Roberts' attorney, John W. Hartmann, previously outlined the events that led up to the shooting, admitting that it stemmed from a Facebook feud, NJ.com reported.

Hartmann said Roberts was contacted by his mother and sister over the online beef and told to "get down to Kingsbury" — the apartments where Sequoya was playing outside — after a fight broke out involving the sister, which stemmed from the Facebook feud. When Roberts arrived, Hartmann said, he was given the name of a "family nemesis" whom police said was his intended victim.

Roberts retrieved a 9 mm pistol from an apartment and then saw the "family nemesis," whom he believed also had a handgun, outside, Hartmann said. Roberts opened fire and struck Sequoya as she tried running away with her brother. Their mother was outside at the time and tried to help her, along with local residents, before police arrived.

"He shot off two rounds first, everybody scattered, and then he shot off another four rounds and my daughter got hit," Bacon-Jones said in a 2022 interview with Philadelphia CBS affiliate KYW.

"I run up and my baby is laying on the ground covered in blood," Bacon-Jones recounted, describing Sequoya as her "little girl," per KYW. "She's not crying at all, she's just like moaning and she's reaching for me and I'm like I can't believe what I'm looking at. It's not really happening, but it's really happening."

Hartmann has previously said that Roberts did not intend to harm Sequoya, according to NJ.com. He admitted, however, that Roberts did show a reckless disregard for human life that warranted the manslaughter charge.

Bacon-Jones described the beef that sparked the shooting as "stupid Facebook stuff" while speaking to reporters at a news conference after her daughter's death.

"Now all I have are memories I can't make anymore," Bacon-Jones said.

As part of his plea deal, Roberts was expected to spend between 15 and 18 years in prison, according to NJ.com.

"He has accepted responsibility," Hartmann told the court at his plea hearing in April. "He really feels horrible about what occurred."

The judge who sentenced Roberts told the court that he "unnecessarily" escalated the situation "by introducing a firearm into what was at the time merely a physical altercation," according to NJ.com.

"The defendant exercised terrible judgment," the judge concluded.

Brewers offense, Gasser efficiently pummel the Rays

ST PETERSBURG, FLORIDA - OCTOBER 26: The Milwaukee Brewers celebrate in the dugout during the fifth inning against the Tampa Bay Rays in game three of the 2026 World Series at Tropicana Field on October 26, 2026 in St Petersburg, Florida. (Photo by Elsa/Getty Images) | Getty Images Jackson Heiden Tue, October 27, 2026 at 4:07 AM UTC · 4 min read About Our Ads Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Seven straight, two-out hits for eight runs across three pitchers in the top of the fifth inning carried the Brewers to a 10-1 pummeling of the Tampa Bay Rays. For the second time in franchise history, the Brewers will have a chance to win their first World Series championship in franchise history tomorrow night.

For the second time this season, the Brewers stared down their former ace, Freddy Peralta. And for the second time this season, they hung at least five runs on him to force him off the mound before the sixth inning.

Their process of getting to Peralta began much like every other game has this postseason: patience and persistence. In the top of the first inning, the Brewers offense forced Peralta to throw 20 pitches. In the midst of the large load of early throws, both Jackson Chourio and Christian Yelich collected their first of many base hits of the night.

To complement a great offense, great pitching is often needed, a recipe that the Brewers have cooked up time and time again this season. Tonight was no different for the Brewers' southpaw Robert Gasser. With perhaps the start of the postseason so far, Gasser allowed his lone hit of the night in the bottom of the first inning on a lead-off knock from Yandy Díaz. From that moment onward, Gasser was lights out, retiring the next 15 batters he faced before allowing a lead-off walk to Victor Mesa Jr. in the bottom of the sixth.

While Bobby Diesel cooked, the Brewers offense continued to grind down Peralta, finally dishing out their first blow of the ballgame. Following a David Hamilton popout, Chourio quickly collected his second base hit of the game. After a Jake Bauers walk, Christian Yelich also grabbed his second hit of the game, this time driving in Chourio to give the Crew a 1-0 lead. On the very next pitch, William Contreras went opposite field to extend the Brewers' lead to 2-0.

Then came the time when Brewers fans across the country said, "I'm sorry it had to come to this," as they watched their former ace and his teammates get bullied apart. Chourio collected the team's sixth hit with one out in the top of the fifth inning. Following Bauers' flyout to center field, Yelich walked to put two men on. Then, Junior Caminero made a play that he'll be thinking about moving forward, as instead of throwing out the meandering Contreras down the line, he went for the force play at second. Yelich had the manager get his foot into the bag a split second before the ball was caught. The play on the field was ruled out until Pat Murphy's challenge said it wasn't, which in turn loaded the bases with two outs.

Cam Booser replaced Peralta on the mound following the overturned challenge, which then sparked the first of seven straight, two-out hits. The first one came on a Brice Turang bleeder up the middle that was misplayed to score two runs. Then Garrett Mitchell singled to extend the Brewers lead to 5-0, which was followed up with the third straight hit that was a Cooper Pratt double to drive in two more. Sal Frelick got his extra-base hit after being robbed a couple of innings prior to shoot the Crew's score up to 8-0. After David Hamilton singled to make it 9-0, Chourio conveniently bounced a double off the Culver's sign in right-center field to cap the Brewers' lead at 10-0.

Gasser continued to dominate in an efficient way until he was pulled after 75 pitches through six innings. Following his departure, we saw two scoreless innings from Antonio Senzatela as he worked his first innings since the San Diego series. Finally, for the first time since the 2021 National League Division Series against the Atlanta Braves, Brandon Woodruff made his return to the mound in postseason play. Many didn't know what to expect from Big Woo, nor did they know how long he was going to last, but to be able to see a glimpse of the past in the present was enough to forget his two-out RBI single he allowed to Díaz.

With that, the Brewers complete a statistical oddity, as they will finish the year a perfect 7-0 on the 26th day of the month. During games played on the 26th of the month, the Brewers outscored their opponents, 64-10. They're officially one win away from history, with a chance to accomplish what no team has done in the modern era: Sweep the championship series and the World Series.

Ryan Grubb Is Running Out of Excuses as Alabama’s Offensive Struggles Continue Despite Texas A&M Win

(IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect) Hannah Stephens Tue, October 27, 2026 at 3:45 AM UTC · 6 min read About Our Ads Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Alabama won Saturday. Ryan Grubb's offense eventually did enough to help the Crimson Tide secure a much-needed 31-20 victory over Texas A&M. And after consecutive losses to Georgia and Tennessee, getting back into the win column was certainly something worth celebrating.

But let's not pretend that Saturday's victory suddenly erased the concerns surrounding Alabama's offensive coordinator.

If anything, the performance against Texas A&M further exposed some of the troubling issues that have followed Grubb's offense throughout the season. The inability to establish a consistent running game, questionable offensive execution, prolonged scoring droughts, and an alarming dependence on Keelon Russell's individual talent continue to raise legitimate questions about the direction of this offense.

And at some point, those questions demand answers.

Ryan Grubb was brought to Alabama to produce an explosive, efficient, championship-caliber offense. Eight games into the season, the Crimson Tide is still searching for the consistency that should accompany that expectation.

Consider the rushing numbers from Saturday's matchup.

Alabama finished with just 68 rushing yards on 28 attempts, averaging a miserable 2.4 yards per carry. Daniel Hill led the team with 36 yards on nine attempts, while Trae'shawn Brown managed only 11 yards on seven carries.

Those numbers are unacceptable for an Alabama football program that has historically prided itself on controlling the line of scrimmage and establishing physicality.

Now, before anyone argues that Grubb's offense is designed to prioritize throwing the football, let me make something abundantly clear: nobody is asking Alabama to abandon the passing game.

With a quarterback as talented as Russell and receivers capable of creating explosive plays, Alabama absolutely should take advantage of its aerial attack.

But being a pass-first offense does not excuse being an ineffective rushing offense.

An offensive coordinator's responsibility is not simply to call plays that highlight his preferred philosophy. His responsibility is to develop a balanced, productive system that maximizes the strengths of his personnel while minimizing weaknesses.

Right now, Alabama's running game is a weakness that opposing defensive coordinators can exploit.

When defenses do not have to respect the threat of a consistent rushing attack, they can dedicate additional resources to disrupting passing lanes, pressuring the quarterback, and forcing offenses into predictable situations.

That becomes particularly dangerous against talented SEC defenses.

And while Alabama's offensive line deserves its share of criticism for failing to consistently create running lanes, the responsibility ultimately extends to Grubb and his offensive staff.

If the blocking schemes are not working, adjust them. If particular formations are ineffective, reevaluate them. If the running backs are struggling to find space, develop ways to create favorable matchups.

And Alabama's offensive coordinator is paid to find those solutions.

The inconsistency extends well beyond the running game.

Against Texas A&M, Alabama scored 17 points in the first half before failing to score a single point in the third quarter. The Crimson Tide did not regain the lead until the opening seconds of the fourth quarter, ultimately using two Russell touchdown passes to pull away from the Aggies.

While those late-game adjustments deserve recognition, why does Alabama continue to find itself needing them?

Why does an offense featuring this much talent struggle to sustain momentum for four quarters?

These are legitimate questions, especially considering that similar concerns have surfaced throughout the season.

Grubb deserves credit when his play designs produce explosive opportunities, just as he deserves criticism when his offense struggles to establish rhythm.

Russell completed 19 of 30 passes for 311 yards and three touchdowns. Rico Scott delivered a phenomenal performance with six receptions for 156 yards, providing the Crimson Tide with the explosive production necessary to overcome its ground-game deficiencies.

Those performances highlight the tremendous talent available to Alabama's offensive coordinator.

How much of Alabama's offensive success is coming from consistently effective play-calling, and how much is coming from individual players making extraordinary plays?

Russell is an incredibly talented young quarterback with an impressive future ahead of him. His arm strength, decision-making potential, and ability to create explosive plays make him one of Alabama's most important offensive weapons.

However, he should not be expected to compensate for an ineffective rushing attack every single Saturday.

A quarterback's development should be supported by the offensive system, not burdened by its shortcomings.

And when Alabama converts just five of 12 third-down opportunities while scoring on only three of five red-zone possessions, it becomes difficult to argue that this offense is consistently operating at the level its talent suggests it should.

The red-zone issues are particularly frustrating because moving the football between the 20-yard lines means very little if an offense cannot consistently finish drives.

Alabama has to become more physical, more creative, and more disciplined in scoring situations.

And those improvements begin with coaching.

To be fair, Grubb is not solely responsible for every offensive deficiency. Players must execute assignments, offensive linemen must win individual battles, and receivers must create separation. But the purpose of having an experienced offensive coordinator is to develop a system that places those players in positions to succeed.

And it is the same standard Alabama fans have every right to expect from anyone entrusted with directing this program's offense.

With the Crimson Tide entering its bye week before a critical matchup against LSU, Grubb has an opportunity to address these ongoing concerns.

Alabama cannot continue approaching games with the expectation that Russell will throw for 300 yards and rescue an offense incapable of consistently running the football. There must be greater balance, better situational play-calling, and a more consistent offensive identity.

And perhaps most importantly, there must be evidence that the coaching staff is learning from the same mistakes that continue appearing week after week.

Saturday's victory was important. Alabama needed it, and Grubb deserves credit for helping the offense produce two fourth-quarter touchdown drives when the Crimson Tide desperately needed points. But one productive quarter cannot become the standard of success for an Alabama offense loaded with talent.

Because at Alabama, offensive coordinators are not evaluated solely by whether their teams occasionally produce impressive statistics or explosive plays.

They are evaluated by whether their offenses consistently execute, develop, improve, and ultimately help win championships.

Alabama still has meaningful football ahead of it this season, but the margin for error is shrinking. The bye week provides Grubb an opportunity to demonstrate that he can make the adjustments this offense desperately needs. And with LSU waiting on the other side, those adjustments cannot be merely theoretical.

They must translate onto the football field.

Alabama won Saturday despite some significant offensive weaknesses. But if Ryan Grubb cannot fix them, those same weaknesses could eventually cost the Crimson Tide far more than one football game.

Dak Prescott throws for three scores in win over Eagles

HC Green, USA TODAY Tue, October 27, 2026 at 3:49 AM UTC · 1 min read About Our Ads Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott completed 15 of 27 passes for 212 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions in a Week 7 win over the Philadelphia Eagles . He added eight yards on two carries.

Why It Matters: It was a "less is more" approach from Prescott in Week 7. After four straight one-touchdown efforts, Prescott threw for three TDs despite establishing season lows in completions (15) and attempts (27) -- that was half as many attempts as he had in last Sunday's loss to Green Bay. We'll see if this represents a full-blown change in strategy or if Dallas simply felt the Eagles were uniquely unable to handle their ground game. It makes valuing Prescott a bit confusing, though, as he's typically been a decent QB1 but had slipped toward the border of QB1/QB2 territory with his recent struggles around the end zone. We should learn more about Dallas' strategy in Week 8 against a Cardinals defense that has had issues in pass defense.

Do Lymphatic Drainage Drops Work?

Save this story Save Story Save this story In a world obsessed with detoxing , lymphatic drainage remains a top priority. So it’s no surprise that lymphatic drainage drops have become the natural progression (read: viral sensation) in our journey for healthy lymphatic flow.

Lymphatic drainage drops are liquids made of different herbs that are known for their immune-boosting and “detoxing” effects to improve your lymphatic flow. It sounds great in theory, but experts aren’t so quick to co-sign them. As Sandra Chiu , L.Ac., DACM, founder of Lanshin , explains, lymphatic drainage has moved far beyond its original use of helping people with lymphatic impairment and is now synonymous with de-bloating and de-puffing, which leads many people turning to methods that aren’t necessary in the first place.

“People see facial puffiness or bloating in the body and assume it means their lymphatic system is congested, even when they’re perfectly healthy,” Chiu tells Vogue . “I see the term ‘lymphatic drainage’ being used to sell everything from facial massage and gua sha to body sculpting, detox products, and now herbal supplements.”

So before clicking * add to bag * to the lymphatic drainage drops you discovered via an algorithm, you might want to read this first.

Experts are skeptical of all the claims. “I don’t see any evidence that lymphatic drainage drops actually increase lymphatic circulation,” says Amanda Kahn , MD, board-certified internist and longevity medicine specialist. Dr. Kahn goes on to explain that lymphatic flow is driven by skeletal muscle contraction, physical movement, breathing, and gravity. The most proven methods to encourage that type of lymph movement include exercise, compression, and manual lymphatic drainage. While some of the ingredients in these drops may have a mild diuretic effect, she says losing water through your kidneys and urinary tract is not the same thing as lymphatic drainage.

“Some may take the drops and genuinely notice that they feel a little less bloated or puffy, but this doesn’t necessarily mean the supplement has increased lymphatic flow,” she adds. “The evidence isn’t strong enough for me to recommend lymphatic drainage drops specifically to improve lymphatic function.”

“Lymphatic drops don’t have a clear goal that you can measure or feel, which is why I’m a bit dubious and suspicious,” Chiu agrees. “Herbs are powerful and should be used for specific, targeted reasons.”

While some of the herbs found in these drops are linked to certain benefits such as strengthening your immune system, improving your bowel function , and stimulating better blood flow and circulation, Chiu says that the link between using an herb for a swollen lymph node or gland to treat facial puffiness is a pretty big stretch. “The herbs technically have benefits, but herbs only have a benefit if you actually need them,” she says. “‘Lymphatic drainage drops’ speaks more to marketing than sound herbal practice.”

“The biggest issue is that ‘lymphatic drainage drops’ are a marketing category, not a standardized or medical treatment,” Dr. Kahn agrees. “Products may vary widely in terms of ingredients.”

Chiu says that you might be taking herbs that your body doesn’t need. Also, she points out that the category of herbs called “lymphatic drainage drops” is vague and says it is all just marketing. “The actual functions of the herbs don’t necessarily match with the promise of the name,” she says.

She also cautions those with weak digestion from taking these drops, as some of the herbs used in these formulas can cause more harm. Dr. Kahn adds dehydration and electrolyte imbalance as other potential side effects.

And if you’re taking any sort of medication, Chiu recommends consulting first with your doctor before adding any sort of herbal remedies as herbs are known to potentially interact with certain medications. Dr. Kahn agrees and says those taking diuretics or those with liver, kidney, or heart disease should avoid this altogether.

While Chiu says you can structure your days of taking herbs without professional guidance (“I recommend a structure like five days on and two days off so your body has regular breaks from the herbs,” she says), she thinks it’s best taken with a licensed professional looking over you rather than you trying to figure it out all on your own.

“No, I would not recommend lymphatic drops,” Chiu says. “As an herbalist myself, I know that the most effective and safest way to use herbs is to be precise.” She goes on to explain that a licensed herbalist selecting the right herbs to match your specific needs is more beneficial—and safer—than grabbing a pre-made formula that is more general.

“To give ‘lymphatic drops’ to someone who thinks their morning facial puffiness means their lymph drainage is off, is simply not how you practice herbal medicine,” she says. “It’s just not based or anchored in the principles of sound herbal practice.”

Chiu says one of the best things you can do for a healthy lymphatic flow is walk , as regular movement and light exercise are easy ways to support lymphatic circulation. “I especially love it with nothing in your hands,” she says. “No phone, purse, bag, or backpack: just let your arms swing naturally and let your body move.”

Other options include breathing, as Chiu explains that the movement of the diaphragm and the pressure changes can also help lymph move through the body, and gua sha , which releases muscle tension to improve lymphatic circulation and boost blood flow.

Dr. Kahn agrees and adds that compression can also be helpful. Using compression leggings, for example, she says, may provide mechanical support for circulation and lymphatic movement. Or when in doubt, seek a certified therapist for lymphatic drainage. One can never go wrong with that.

According to a press release from the Washington County Sheriff's Department, deputies responded to a residence on North Naugle Road in Salem at 4:30 p.m. Friday after receiving a report that a man with a gun was trying to abduct a juvenile girl. The sheriff's office has not released the victim's age, describing her only as a teen.

"According to the investigation, [Mauck] approached the juvenile while she was outside her residence and attempted to force her into his vehicle," the release states. "The juvenile reported that Mauck grabbed her and threatened her with a firearm. She screamed for help and struggled to break free, drawing the attention of family members who came outside. Family members intervened and detained Mauck until law enforcement arrived."

At the scene, deputies recovered a revolver, ammunition, handcuffs and two folding knives, according to the sheriff's office. The release did not specify where each item was found or whether investigators believe all of them were connected to the alleged attempted abduction.

Deputies transported Mauck to Ascension St. Vincent Salem Hospital for medical treatment before he was booked into the Washington County Detention Center.

"This is an extremely disturbing incident, and we are thankful this young girl was able to get away and that her family acted quickly," Washington County Sheriff Brent Miller said in a statement. "Anyone who attempts to harm or abduct a child in Washington County will be met with the full force of law enforcement. Protecting our children and keeping our families safe will always be among our highest priorities."

The sheriff's office said that the Salem Police Department assisted in the response. The case was forwarded to the Washington County Prosecutor's Office for review and consideration of formal charges, the sheriff's department said.

A lifelong resident of the area spoke to Louisville, Kentucky-based CBS affiliate WLKY about the incident, saying she was "heartbroken" for the victim.

"I can't imagine the trauma this young lady's going through right now," she told the station.

Mauck is scheduled to appear for his initial hearing Monday at 2 p.m.

Fantasy Football 2026: Waiver Wire, Week 8 edition

This Jet is soaring | Getty Images David Hartman Mon, October 26, 2026 at 11:00 PM UTC · 7 min read About Our Ads Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Welcome to the Fantasy Football Waiver Wire for Week 8.

Week 7 saw a return to more normal scoring after the fantasy wasteland of Week 6. But for the third straight week, we've got four teams on Bye in Week 8. Between injuries and Byes, fantasy players are in the middle of a long and challenging stretch. The Waiver Wire figures to be busy again this week, as managers scour it for streamers, stashes, and even longer-term starting options.

One trend to highlight is the emergence of the 2026 rookie receiving class. It's good, and it's deep, and we still haven't seen the second receiver drafted. We're up to a half dozen or so rookie receivers who are fantasy-relevant, and that number could jump to close to a dozen in the second half of the season. I say it every year – be patient with rookie receivers. Many of the rookies are rostered, but some are still available.

The Process : Each week, I try to identify the top Waiver Wire targets and evaluate the short- and long-term prospects of those players. I also do my best to reveal which players who are coming off a big week are fool's gold. Finally, I look at streamers who might help you in a pinch (this is usually more important during Bye weeks).

Some players discussed won't be available in your league. I try to list players who are available in more than 50% of leagues. But what does that even mean? A 10-team league with six bench spots will have a much larger Free Agent pool than a 14-team league with eight. Most leagues fall somewhere in between. This isn't "one size fits all." By way of example, I won't list Baker Mayfield , Kirk Cousins , Rachaad White , K.C. Concepcion , Rome Odunze , DeVaughn Vele , Germie Bernard , Brenton Strange , or Michael Mayer , among others who probably aren't available in any of your leagues.

Note that I'm writing this column BEFORE the Week 7 Monday night game (DAL @ PHI).

WEEK 8 BYES: Giants, Saints, Texans, 49ers

Willis to Douglas is a thing | Getty Images Week 8 Waiver Wire

Malik Willis was a popular sleeper in the preseason because of his dual-threat upside, on a rebuilding team expected to chase points all season. That upside didn't show up in September, but he's heating up. In each of his last two games, he ran one in and topped 20 fantasy points, albeit on low passing volume. Miami's offense hasn't been putting up points (their 28 against the Jets on Sunday was a season high), but their young receivers are getting better with more reps, and Willis could be a plug-and-play streamer as needed over the second half of the season. The Patriots pose a tough challenge this week, but the four opponents after that are tasty — Lions, Colts, Bills, and Jets again, this time at home.

I've never been a J.J. McCarthy believer, but through five quarters he's been surprisingly good – dare I say great — as the Giants' main man. I'll happily eat crow on this one, Big Blue View readers. The G-Men ran all over the Texans on Sunday, but McCarthy played mistake-free football on the road against a great pass rush and a talented secondary, and made a lot of terrific throws. He can also run, and his O-line and weapons are above average. He's 100% worth stashing through New York's Week 8 Bye if you need QB help in a Superflex league.

I've been pushing Aaron Rodgers as a QB2/streaming option all season, and the old man continues to produce decent numbers. Another veteran who can put up some numbers in the right matchups is Geno Smith, who threw for three TDs against Miami and keeps getting more weapons back from injury.

Need a Week 8 streamer? Last week I recommended Willis and Smith and both broke 20 fantasy points. Jacoby Brissett gets the Cowboys in Week 8, and Tanner McKee gets the Lions. Neither one is all that attractive, but if you're stuck at QB, they're worth considering.

Finally, Michael Penix, Jr. and Sam Darnold can be decent streaming QB2 options in the right matchups.

Jonah Coleman gets his shot | Getty Images Running Back:

Jonah Coleman is back and he played 50% of the snaps in his return. All three Denver backs should be rostered, but they're hard to trust as starters week to week when all three are healthy, as they are now.

The Giants are also deploying three backs without a clear bell-cow. Tyrone Tracy, Jr. and Cam Skattebo both suffered what appear to be minor hamstring injuries in the big upset win at Houston. Tracy and Devin Singletary , who scored the game-winner in OT, should be rostered.

Samaje Perine saw a dip in touches this week, but Chase Brown is still struggling to produce. Perine should be on rosters.

Tyjae Spears and Nick Singleton are stashes in deeper-bench leagues, even though both missed this week's game. It's a terrible offense, but Tony Pollard is a trade candidate (and that was some audition on Sunday).

Seth McGowan , who saw a season-high 12 touches on Sunday, is also a stash, with Jonathan Taylor potentially on the move at the trade deadline (did the Vikings get an in-person audition?)

A few other names to think about, if you're in need and/or want some depth that could pop later: Tyler Allgeieir , Tyler Goodson , Emmett Johnson, Kaelon Black , Dylan Sampson , Jonathon Brooks (IR stash), and Mike Washington, Jr.

It seems less likely that we'll see Tyreek Hill anytime soon, but he's still worth stashing in deep leagues. Another stash I keep listing is Jordyn Tyson , who could return from IR right after the Saints' Week 8 Bye.

There are quite a few players who are worth considering at WR, and as I mentioned in the prelude and last week, rookies make up a good chunk of the options.

Omar Cooper, Jr. tops the list, after back-to-back games with 100 yards and a score in his return from injury. The Jets will often have negative game scripts, which helps, and he looks really good.

Dolphins' third-round rookie Caleb Douglas was only targeted three times on Sunday, but he turned that into two TD catches, including a long one. In the two games he started and finished this season, Douglas has a 7-164-2 line. Malik Willis has a big arm, and while the passing volume hasn't been high, favorable game scripts could help Douglas. I like him as a WR4-type add for rosters.

Here are not two, not three, not four, but FIVE more rookie receivers who I think you can consider if you need bench help. I'll list them in my preferred order: Antonio Williams, Ja'Kobi Lane, Makai Lemon, Malachi Fields , and Jordan Watkins . If you have an IR spot free you can also think about a sixth rookie — De'Zhaun Stribling , who could be back to the depleted 49ers in a few weeks.

Need depth? I'll repeat a bunch of names I've listed in recent weeks, together with some new ones: Keenan Allen , Malik Washington, Travis Hunter, Jakobi Meyers, Kendrick Bourne, Savion Williams , Brandin Cooks , Cyrus Allen , Tank Dell, and Tre Harris .

Chig is set up for a big second half | Getty Images Tight End:

Four to target, if you need help at TE, and again this is my preferred order: Chig Okonkwo (gets a bump with Terry McLaurin gone for the season), A.J. Barner , Terrance Ferguson (IR stash), and Mason Taylor .

I think both New England tight ends – Hunter Henry and Eli Raridon – are also in play if you need help.

Finally, Darnell Washington has scored in three of the last four games. He's purely TD or bust, but clearly Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers like those man vs. boy matchups of the gargantuan Washington against smaller DBs at the goal line.

That's all I've got. Good luck with your waiver claims!

Thunder's Williams requires surgery for broken leg and dislocated ankle

Oklahoma City Thunder star Jalen Williams will need surgery to repair a broken left fibula and dislocated left ankle after being stretchered off during their 108-101 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Williams - a shooting guard who entered Sunday having averaged 18 points per game in his first 250 NBA contests - has been an All-Star and an All-NBA player already in his career and was a huge part of the Thunder team that won the 2024-25 NBA title.

He injured his lower left leg and saw his ankle turn at an unnatural angle in a drive with 1:14 remaining, with Williams immediately treated by medical personnel after going down underneath the basket on the Thunder's offensive end.

"Dub, as everybody knows, is as tough as they come," Thunder GM Sam Presti said at a news conference in Oklahoma City.

"He's an elite competitor. Even last night, just miraculous in terms of his outlook and the way he's looking forward to attacking this. We're going to be with him the entire way."

Williams' ankle was draped with towels before a stretcher was brought out, with players left visibly shaken by the incident and the game stopped for around five minutes before the Thunder completed their victory.

"Just feel bad for him," Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander said in a post-match interview, fighting back tears as he spoke. "Nothing more than that."

Williams, seated up on the stretcher, saluted the cheering fans with two thumbs-up signals as he was wheeled off the court.

Final from OKC pic.twitter.com/i2BmeVGAEh

It was a double gut punch for the Thunder on Monday, with the team also revealing that forward Cason Wallace will need surgery to repair a left labral tear after suffering an injury in the same game.

The timetable for Wallace's return will also be set after surgery, but such procedures typically require several months of rehabilitation. Williams was an All-Defensive team selection in 2024-25; Wallace was picked to that team last season.

"Tough night last night," Presti said. "There's no way to paint that differently. We say within our walls all the time there's a difference between being positive and being optimistic.

"Not going to sit up here and say this is exactly where we want to be or this is how we'd like to have it, but at the same time, we're extremely optimistic about the recovery for both the players. Most importantly, things could have been a lot worse."

This city lives and dies with our Thunder. We support them on the court, as representatives of our city off the court, and as people that feel as familiar to us as our friends and neighbors. They’re our guys. It’s been a thrill for all of us to have JDub back on the court this… pic.twitter.com/d3jeUldDBY

The Thunder have experienced major injury-related challenges in recent years, including Chet Holmgren missing the entirety of what would have been his rookie season with a foot issue.

The team's 2024 first-round pick, Nikola Topic, missed all but 10 games in the previous two seasons - first because of a torn ACL, then with testicular cancer. And Williams missed 49 regular-season games a year ago with an array of issues, mostly wrist and hamstring problems.

"We've had some tough, uniquely tough, circumstances over the last few years," Presti said. "One of the things I tried to say to the staff this morning when I talked to them was we can't get to the point where we feel like this is a common situation. But that being said, it's our situation."

Massive Great Dane Stands up to Hug Ciara and People Swear He’s Actually a Horse

(MICHAEL TRAN / Getty Images)

Great Danes have earned the nickname “gentle giants,” but it’s easy to forget how much emphasis belongs on the “giant” part until they decide to stand up for a hug.

Superstar Ciara got a hilarious reminder while spending time with an enormous Great Dane. In the video, the singer gives him plenty of attention as he rises onto his hind legs and puts his front paws up toward her. Suddenly, this isn’t a person petting a dog. It looks more like two friends greeting each other at eye level.

🐶🐱🐶 SIGN UP to get “pawsitivity” delivered right to your inbox with inspiring & entertaining stories about our furry & feathered friends🐾🐾

And judging by Ciara’s reaction, she knows exactly how funny the situation has become.

Ciara’s Great Dane Friend Is Basically Her Height Standing Up

In the clip, Ciara laughs as the dog leans toward her, seemingly completely unaware that his version of asking for affection comes with a whole lot of Great Dane attached.

She reaches up to pet him while he remains standing, and the size difference becomes almost comical. Or perhaps the lack of a size difference does. Viewers certainly noticed.

“A whole Scooby Doo 😮,” one person declared, perfectly capturing what plenty of people were probably thinking. Another viewer had a different comparison: “That ain’t no dog, THAT’S A HORSE.” That comment earned thousands of likes in the screenshot, while others couldn’t get over seeing such an enormous dog casually standing beside Ciara. “It’s bigger than me omg no,” someone wrote.

Then there was the viewer who focused less on his size and more on what he appeared to want from the encounter: “Not that big ol’ baby standing up like he’s your man!” Big baby might actually be the most fitting description of all.

There’s something endlessly funny about enormous dogs behaving as though their size should have absolutely no effect on how affection works. This Great Dane isn’t keeping a dignified distance, since he can practically look Ciara in the eye. He wants attention, and apparently he’s willing to come up to her level to get it.

Giant Dogs Don’t Always Realize Just How Giant They Are

Part of the appeal is the contrast. A Great Dane can look imposing simply because of the breed’s tremendous height, then completely undermine that image by leaning in for affection like a much smaller pup. Dogs seem to have a special talent for making their size irrelevant when they want to be close to someone they trust.

One golden retriever recently highlighted that bond in a different way when he recreated a photo with his dad 10 years later. The years changed plenty about the pair, but seeing them together again made what hadn’t changed even sweeter.

Of course, being small doesn’t stop a dog from creating an equally big moment. A mini dachshund’s reaction after getting into trouble showed just how much personality can fit into a considerably shorter package.

Ciara’s new friend is working with much more real estate. Another commenter described Great Danes as “gentle giants,” and this interaction makes it easy to understand why the phrase sticks. For all the jokes about horses and Scooby-Doo, the towering dog seems most interested in being close enough to soak up some attention.

And when you’re tall enough to meet Ciara almost face-to-face, apparently there’s no reason to wait for her to bend down and give you a hug. Sometimes you just stand up and take one.

Larson takes command of NASCAR Chase with Talladega win

About Our Ads Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement TALLADEGA, Ala. - Kyle Larson seemed to be still in shock in a post-race interview after his thrilling overtime victory in Sunday's YellaWood 500 victory at Talladega Superspeedway. The California native not only won perhaps the most critical race in the 2026 NASCAR Chase for the Cup Series Championship but also saw most of his 10-race Chase competitors fall out of contention with a variety of large wrecks and tire issues.

Larson commented on his first victory in 58 outings on NASCAR's Superspeedways, (Daytona and Talladega) and third win in eight Chase races, "I'm very shocked that I won and how the (Chase) points played out. Unbelievable, crazy, happy to finally get a superspeedway win! Never in a million years I thought I'd (win) and leave here plus 73 points. It feels so good to get our first superspeedway win and the points implications. Never on the last lap (of the two-lap overtime shootout) when I was stuck in traffic did I think I was going to win. It worked out how it was supposed to work out.! I was the beneficiary of the Chevy teamwork today…it's a bit of relief to win on a superspeedway."

For the rest of the drivers in title contention with 2026 Chase points leader Larson, Talladega was the unpredictable nightmare that the fast, 2.66-mile superspeedway has a tradition of being. Christopher Bell was the first Chase contender bitten by the Talladega curse. Bell, suffered a tire failure in the first stage that tore up his rear fender and repairs placed him many laps behind and out of race contention.

Ryan Blaney was the next Chase contender to fall out after being hit from behind by Bubba Wallace, triggering a huge wreck that damaged several cars and put Blaney's fast Team Penske Mustang which had led several laps behind the wall.

Chase points contender Joey Logano led many laps and appeared to have the fastest car, winning the second stage and leading much of the final stage. Logano, blocked in front by Ross Chastain (almost a lap down in front of the race leaders), battled alongside Larson for the lead with less than five laps remaining.

Logano could not get around the blocking Chevy of Chastain and had the two Hendrick Chevy teammates Larson, being pushed by William Byron, on his inside. Another Chevy of Carson Hocevar was behind Logano whose fast Team Penske Mustang was totally boxed in.

As Logano struggled to get out of the Chevy "box" and around Chastain for the lead, Hocevar hit Logano's rear and pushed him sideways triggering a horrific multi-car wreck that saw Logano's car climb the wall in the tri-oval a flip on its roof and skid across the start-finish line in a shower of sparks as many other cars piled into the melee.

This wreck brought the race to a red flag halt in action as the safety team successfully got the shaken 3-time NASCAR Cup champion from his battered race car. Riley Herbst plowed head-on into the inside turn one wall and had to be rescued from his destroyed race car. He was taken to the infield care center with what was reported to be a wrist injury.

This late-race, multi-car wreck eliminated two more of Larson's closest and threatening Chase contenders as both Logano and Hoosier Chase Briscoe were eliminated by the huge wreck. When the track was cleared of the debris and wrecked race cars, Larson, who was running on the bottom lane pushed by his teammate Byron, had escaped the big wreck.

With all his closest Chase contenders out of contention, Larson found himself in a very advantageous position on the front row with his teammate behind in the NASCAR overtime two-lap shootout. Not only could he win his first superspeedway race, but more importantly he could take a commanding lead in the 2026 NASCAR Chase points battle with the win.

Larson, with help of Byron, got the jump on Todd Gilliland on the drop of the green flag and led going down the backstretch, but was passed by Austin Hill and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. as several potential winners battled for the win. Larson fell from first to 11th as the drivers took the white flag.

Larson drove low and with a critical push from Chevy driver Ross Chastain battled back to the lead beating Byron by less than a car length to the checkered flag. The incredible final lap charge saw Larson come back from 11th to first place and victory in less than half lap.

Finishing behind winner Larson and second place Byron was Ricky Stenhouse Jr. in third. Chastain and Cole Custer rounded out the top five.

A disappointed early Chase points leader and favorite Denny Hamlin, who finished eighth, commented on his dashed hopes on his coveted first NASCAR Cup title as the NASCAR teams head to Martinsville for the ninth race in the 2026 Chase which concludes at Homestead-Miami Speedway in two weeks, "As long as he (Larson) can keep four wheels on it….he's the champion again."

Flyers Strong Fit for Castaway Capitals 1st-Round Pick on NHL Trade Block

Jonathan Bailey Tue, October 27, 2026 at 12:31 AM UTC · 4 min read About Our Ads Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement In recent weeks, the Philadelphia Flyers have finally found their way into the win column, led by their growing youth movement, though not all contributions have been equal.

By and large, forwards Trevor Zegras, Matvei Michkov, and Porter Martone have led the way offensively, while Oliver Bonk and Hunter McDonald have impressed replacing the likes of Rasmus Ristolainen and Cam York.

But, aside from the top dogs, and Cole Knuble, who scored his first two NHL goals in a 3-1 win over Buffalo last week, the Flyers could find themselves interested in getting more out of their middle six.

Although he made the NHL roster out of training camp, Alex Bump was a healthy scratch by the fourth game of the season, earning himself a demotion to the AHL before exploding for seven goals, an assist, and eight points in just five games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

Bump, 22, returned to the Flyers in short order amid a rash of injuries, with Tyson Foerster, Owen Tippett, and Travis Konecny all going out of commission.

Despite his individual skill, which is at times electrifying, and accurate shot, Bump has yet to record a goal or assist for the Flyers in six games this season, regressing quite a bit from his nine points in 17 games in the regular season last year.

Without consistency and end product, it's hard to envision Bump's role at the NHL level in the long-term.

And if Bump has found himself in the background of the Flyers' short- and long-term plans, there is another young winger in the Metropolitan Division worth adding for some competition, so long as the price is right.

Elsewhere in the division, the Washington Capitals have given 2022 first-round pick Ivan Miroshnichenko and his camp permission to seek a trade in search of a greater NHL opportunity, though the team won't trade him away for pennies or place him on waivers, either.

Given that the Flyers are on the upswing, even with all their youth, they're a logical landing spot for the talented Russian winger, who doesn't quite fit on a Capitals team that has been trying to compete for a Stanley Cup in the twilight years of Alex Ovechkin's legendary career.

As mentioned above, Bump's game at the NHL level has been a slow burn despite a strong start, and maybe his style of play doesn't quite mesh with the higher difficulty compared to the AHL.

Miroshnichenko, who has played just 55 career NHL games and scored only six goals, eight assists, and 14 points, is in a similar boat, though he brings a package of skills and traits to the table that make him more suited to a middle-six role than Bump.

A buccaneering right-shot left winger, Miroshnichenko is at his best going north and south, attacking downhill with his speed and blistering shot while threatening opponents with heavy hits on the other side of the puck.

Flyers Key Defenseman Suffers Another InjuryThe Philadelphia Flyers announced some truly unfortunate injury news on Monday afternoon.

Despite being a somewhat modest 6-foot-1, 200 pounds, Miroshnichenko embraces the physical, more competitive side of the game, and he's got some offensive talent to boot. The 22-year-old has done what he can in a limited role, having played his career-high 21 NHL games way back in 2023-24, when he was a teenager on opening night.

With further development and a bigger opportunity, though, Miroshnichenko can establish himself as a workhorse checking winger with scoring upside, especially as a weak-side trigger man on a power play unit.

Naturally, the Flyers would more than likely have to pay the Capitals a tax for a potential in-division trade, but a pair of early Day 2 draft picks and a similar fringe NHLer could do the trick. Notably, the Flyers have their second-round pick in the 2027 NHL Draft , as well as two third-round picks and two fourth-round picks.

Even if and when Tippett and Konecny return, Miroshnichenko would give the Flyers an injection of speed, and perhaps more importantly, physicality in addition to his untapped scoring potential.

And even when the Flyers had Tippett and Konecny, their transition and rush games were lacking, and it's an area the Flyers should consider investing in going forward, with or without Bump, Tippett, or Konecny.

Cavalier Is Serving Up Mediterranean Decadence in Chinatown

If you happen to find yourself in the middle of an eight-way intersection known as Chatham Square on a Friday night without a reservation at Bar Oliver, the courage to face the overhead lighting at Dim Sum Go-Go, or the energy to take on the crowd at Dr. Clark, you’re in luck. Cavalier , a new restaurant founded by Yasmin Kaytmaz (founder of Derby Cup Coffee and co-owner of The River) and Mason Lindahl (formerly the executive chef at Diner and Monkey Bar), just opened its doors on East Broadway, and it’s already piquing interest. Last week, I decided to make an impulsive foray into food journalism and paid the restaurant a visit myself. My findings: It’s a dimly lit, sexy enclave that looks like the Middle East and Las Vegas had a love child. Pink-lacquered tables, a gold-leaf ceiling, Art Deco sun-shaped light fixtures, and leather pillows you can melt into make the whole place feel ultra-decadent and seductive. There’s also a seriously fun mural by Georgia Gardner Gray hiding in the back room. The food, meanwhile, is Mediterranean by way of the American South: collard greens in our duck risotto and a bed of mashed potatoes holding up our snapper. The lavash bread skips over the Southwest entirely, and it was so good we ordered it twice. And while I can’t personally attest, word is the chocolate mousse is a major winner. To celebrate the restaurant’s opening, we snuck into the kitchen to give Yasmin and Mason our ATE questionnaire, as well as find out a little more about their dining habits and food-related neuroses.

YK: Borscht at the Russian Turkish Bathhouse.

What do you think when someone sends back a dish?

YK: I can’t tell you what I really think.

What’s the one food trend you’re relieved is finally over?

YK: Dubai Chocolate. I think that’s over.

ML: I don’t know. I don’t follow food trends.

What’s the one food trend you’re embarrassed to admit you love?

YK: Frozen yogurt. Yes, I’ll wait in line.

What do you eat straight from the fridge?

What’s the first thing you notice about a restaurant when you walk in?

What’s the most underrated city to eat in?

What did nobody tell you about owning a restaurant?

ML: Life is hard. Restaurants are harder.

What’s a dish that defines you as a chef?

YK: Only a chef in my own kitchen, and probably grape leaves.

What do you do in the hour before you open?

What is the ingredient you could not live without?

YK: Rotisserie chicken from just about anywhere.

What’s the restaurant everyone should go to before they die?

What’s the dish everyone should learn to make?

ML: A French omelet (it’s harder than you think).

What’s the one condiment that changes everything?

The 13 Best Spa Treatments Around the World

Courtesy of Royal Mansour, Marrakech These days, when we fly halfway around the world and step off the plane in a new country, we’d rather seek out a place to undo all those travel-related aches and pains than, say, hit a museum right away. We need someone who can put their hands on our shoulders, tell us exactly what we’ve been doing wrong, and give a lymphatic facial massage that will make us look five years younger, no scalpel needed.

Visiting the spa used to be an activity you squeezed into vacation plans apologetically, maybe because your mother-in-law recommended a couples massage for some “quality time.” But all that has changed: now, the spa is increasingly a central part of the itinerary, not an afterthought. The flight dehydrates you, the dinners are late, the walking is endless, and somewhere along the way, your shoulders have migrated up to your ears. Why not feel your best while abroad?

These are, hands down, the best spa treatments and practitioners in our favorite cities around the world—whose products, skills, and decades of know-how can immediately locate your stress and eliminate it. Museums are optional—and we’ve all taken an art history course at some point! But one thing’s for sure: a spa appointment while traveling is a must.

Spa Le Bristol was an epicenter of Parisian luxury since long before anyone thought to package relaxation as “wellness.” The spa’s beloved Facial Energy Massage, which features Kobido facial massage elements, will make you look and feel revitalized. Trust us when we say the acupressure, lymphatic draining, and massage inspired by traditional Chinese medicine that works your meridians until circulation wakes up is worth every penny. Say goodbye to puffiness!

The Keravive Scalp Treatment at Aman Spa in The Connaught Hotel The signature massages at The Connaught are nothing short of heaven: three hours of body wraps, exfoliation, massage, and a restorative facial. The add-on we always make time for is the Keravive Scalp Treatment. In under an hour, it cleanses, exfoliates, hydrates, and nourishes the scalp, tackling the buildup of products you thought you’d washed away while helping stimulate the follicles and supporting healthier hair growth. It’s non-invasive, painless, and frankly, the sort of treatment most of us would never think to book for ourselves when in town, which is precisely why it’s worth doing when you have the opportunity (and better still, the benefits extend well beyond the hour you spend in the chair).

Sacred Elemental Doors Treatment, Amanvari Cabo San Lucas has long been Angelenos’ favorite shortcut to paradise, but Aman has now raised the bar rather dramatically with the new Amanvari in Baja, California. With just 18 Casitas, this new hideaway is extremely exclusive, particularly when it comes to the wellness offerings. The treatment to enjoy: Sacred Elemental Doors, which is a 90-minute journey through Amanvari’s contemporary Temazcal, where a local shaman leads guests through the ancient Mexican ritual representing air, fire, water, and earth. There’s copal smoke, herbal steam, chanting, and a cold plunge at the end—essentially, it’s every excuse you need for a blissful, healing afternoon.

Mocci Beauty Tokyo Signature Japanese Glow Facial In Tokyo, it’s not unusual to hear of your friends leaving their five-star hotels upon arrival and heading straight to an appointment with none other than Miki, the aesthetician behind Mocci’s Japanese Glow Facial. Once you experience this service, you understand why she and her team are at the top of their facial game. This is far more than a facial, combining an incredibly relaxing upper-body and lower-leg massage, targeted blemish extractions (the kind that have become increasingly rare at high-end facials in L.A. and New York), then shifting into collagen-boosting peel and plasma therapy. There’s also an exosome-rich mask that brings your skin back to life—no needles, no lasers, no downtime, just Miki’s signature expertise to make you glow and feel beautiful.

Omakase Shinio Signature Massage at Shibui Spa in The Greenwich Hotel For a New York City reset, Shibui Spa is a particularly civilized way to disappear for a couple of hours and return feeling like yourself again. The Omakase is the treatment to get: a bespoke, Japanese-inspired treatment that weaves in cupping, poultice, herbal heat packs, dry brushing, assisted stretching, and those wonderfully indulgent sake-infused heated towels, all tailored to what your body needs that day. It comes in 90- or 120-minute intervals, but we say take the full two hours. Whether you live here or are staying in the city as a guest, there’s no doubt you are pounding the pavement and keeping pace. So what’s another hour?

The Light Code Facial by Sarah Bradden It’s become something of a ritual for celebrities and high-profile visitors landing in London: before the dinners, the fittings or the inevitable round of meetings, there’s often a stop at Sarah Bradden. Her modalities are more than a complexion glow-up; there’s something about her famed Bradden Method that leaves you feeling as though your entire system has finally exhaled. For the complexion booster, the heart of the treatment is the Microspear technology, which works like microneedling without the needles—delivering EGF, FGF and IGF growth factors into the skin’s basal layer to stimulate collagen, restore elasticity, and encourage cellular renewal. (You will be pink for the next 24 hours so make sure your event is two days away.) The blend of botanical extracts, hyaluronic acid, and squalane floods the skin with hydration; her signature Bradden Method layers in facial and body acupuncture, fascial release, PEMF, energy healing, and nervous-system support. The result is skin that looks smoother, firmer, and beautifully luminous, with the body feeling equally restored.

The Haute Couture Facial at Dior Spa NYC When flying into New York, you really must make time for your face, especially if the flight has sucked the life out of your complexion. At the Dior Spa in Manhattan, the Haute Couture Facial—created with renowned aesthetician Sarah Akram—provides an impeccably restored, smooth, and unmistakably well-rested complexion. It begins with a thorough consultation to assess your skin and its particular needs before tailoring the 90-minute, non-invasive treatment accordingly. You’ll experience Akram’s healing facial massage techniques with micro-stimulation, microcurrent, oxygenation, cold laser, and Oxylight Ionic LED light therapy, along with cryotherapy.

The Rasayana Detox Body Treatment at Le Spa Royal Mansour Marrakech The allure of Morocco hasn’t waned one bit—and Marrakech, with its particular blend of glamour, mystery, and old-world romance, has long known how to keep jet-setters coming back. Honestly, the spa at Royal Mansour Marrakech makes a strong case for why. Simply put, it’s insanely gorgeous. Set behind a private citrus grove, the three-story spa is a destination in itself, a must-see with a spectacular white birdcage atrium and intricate moucharabieh screens. The treatment to book: the Rasayana Detox Body Buff by Subtle Energies, a full-body exfoliation using nut shells, followed by tulsi-scented hot packs, wild turmeric, and limbu. It finishes with a personalized, deeply hydrating body treatment. And while we generally believe you get what you pay for, at $215, this treatment feels like it delivers at least three times its value.

The Cha Ilan Facial at Chaum Life Center There is no shortage of futuristic skincare in Seoul, South Korea. But when we want to know the truth about a product or device, we go to Chaum Life Center for innovation without the gimmicks. This is a serious beauty and wellness institution in Gangnam, where the approach is much more considered. The Cha Ilan Facial is one of the treatments worth knowing, designed to revive tired, lackluster skin and deliver radiance, health, and polish right to your face. In a city obsessed with beauty, Chaum manages to make the whole pursuit feel less frantic and a lot more sophisticated.

The Holistic Touch Treatment at Bvlgari Hotel Spa They don’t lie when they say Italians do it better. In Rome, this is the massage of all massages: a deeply restorative treatment combining lymphatic drainage, muscle work, depurative techniques, and pure relaxation. You arrive tired and leave completely reset. Yes, the massage is fully personalized, but we say go for deep, strong tissue work or a perfect mix of both gentle and deep. And when it’s over, the breathtaking spa pool is the ultimate finishing touch.

The Flow Treatment at Zeyrek Çinili Hamam No one does a hammam quite like Istanbul, and the historic Çinili Hamam is one of those places we would make a point of visiting while in Turkey. The Flow treatment feels less like a modern spa treatment and more like being briefly transported into another era. It combines a traditional full-body, detoxifying “kese” scrub with an extended foam massage, moving between the hot and cold rooms before settling onto the heated marble göbek taşı to rest and recover. And then there is the setting itself: the beautifully restored Çinili Hamam, which feels as much like stepping into a living piece of Istanbul’s history as it does going to the spa.

What makes this experience memorable is precisely what so many contemporary versions of the hammam have lost. There is no attempt to dilute the ritual or make it feel overly polished for a modern audience.

The Ricari Signature Treatment at The Peninsula Beverly Hills Here’s what you book when you have an event coming up and you want your body to feel lighter, less puffy, and just a little more svelte. We first discovered the Ricari Method a few years ago, and we’ve been fans ever since. Now at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, Ricari combines advanced technology with hands-on techniques to stimulate circulation, encourage lymphatic drainage, and leave the body feeling beautifully reset. You wear a specialized Ricari bodysuit throughout the treatment, which acts as the interface for the technology while your therapist works hands-on to stimulate, sculpt, and release. The Signature is a 65- or 95-minute treatment combining Ricari’s full range of technologies and techniques to drain, firm, sculpt, and revive. If you have the time, Odyssey takes it considerably further—a 125-minute, head-to-toe experience with dedicated time for both face and body. This is the one to book when you want the full Ricari effect, particularly before an event, after a long flight, or simply when you feel in need of a very thorough reset.

The Dior Spa at Grand Hotel Timeo, A Belmond Hotel Since The White Lotus landed in Sicily four years ago, the island has seemed to exist in a slightly different universe—one where everyone is impossibly beautiful, mildly unhinged, and drinking wine before noon. At the permanent Dior Spa at Grand Hotel Timeo, A Belmond Hotel, Taormina, the treatment to know to balance all of those moments is the D-Tissue Massage, a serious deep-tissue workout for undoing whatever damage you’ve done to yourself getting to Taormina. The technique relies on focused muscle work that combines strength with gentle touch to eliminate toxins and relieve aching muscles, with the general idea being to deliver recovery and instant relaxation.

Is Taylor Swift Giving a Surprise Performance at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville?

Emma McIntyre/TAS24 // Getty Images Taylor Swift is being inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame tonight (October 26) and is expected to turn up in Nashville for the event. And naturally fans wasted no time sleuthing, and promptly realized that the iconic Bluebird Cafe is closed for two days this week—leading to speculation that Taylor could be celebrating her honor at the venue. On top of that, Tay is celebrating 20 years since her debut album, so the timing of her being back in Nashville is significant!

However, it appears this rumor is just that. The Bluebird Cafe put out a statement on Instagram, writing, “Nothing like walking into the office on a Monday morning to headlines that make you start questioning your own reality. To all the Swifties eagerly celebrating Taylor Swift’s historic induction into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, trust that we are celebrating right with you!”

They then added, “As much as we wish we had a Taylor-sized surprise up our sleeves, this week’s private event closures are for an unrelated filming that happened to fall on the same week. For the safety of the crew and all of the hopeful fans, we wanted to share this with you! Keep the bluebird in your hearts and join us in celebrating 20 years of Taylor Swift. But don’t show up tomorrow (please).”

Bottom line: Taylor will not be performing at the Bluebird Cafe this week. However, it wouldn’t be shocking if she celebrated her induction and 20th anniversary in some way, so keep your eyes peeled!

UFC 336: Joshua Van vs. Manel Kape odds, what to know for flyweight title bout

Mike Bohn, MMA Junkie Mon, October 26, 2026 at 11:40 PM UTC · 1 min read About Our Ads Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement UFC 336 will be headlined by the first undisputed title fight of 2027, with flyweight champion Joshua Van (18-2 MMA, 11-1 UFC) looking to register a third title defense at 25 when he takes on streaking knockout specialist Manel Kape (23-7 MMA, 8-3 UFC).

Van, No. 1 in the latest USA TODAY Sports/MMA Junkie flyweight rankings , silenced any skepticism about his title reign in September when he outworked former longtime titleholder Alexandre Pantoja for a decision in their UFC 331 rematch. Prior to that, the 25-year-old defended gold vs. Tatsuro Taira at UFC 328 in May in a Fight of the Year contender .

Looking to end Van's reign will be No. 2-ranked Kape, who has been on a tear with four straight knockout victories . The 32-year-old has put Kyoji Horiguchi, Brandon Royval, Asu Almabayev and Bruno Silva to solidify his first chance at UFC gold.

According to DraftKings , Van is a slight -125 favorite to defend his belt against Kape, who's a +105 underdog for his first UFC title chance.

Amy Duggar King says Josh Duggar should ‘rot’ in prison, hopes ‘justice is served ice cold’ in Joseph Duggar case

Amy Duggar King is speaking out about her embattled cousins, Josh and Joseph Duggar.

The cousin of the 19 Kids and Counting stars says Josh ought to “just rot” in prison, while she hopes that “justice is served ice cold” in Joseph’s case.

Josh is serving a 12.5-year sentence for possessing child sexual abuse material, while Joseph Duggar faces a child endangerment case in Arkansas, and a child molestation case in Florida.

Amy Duggar King said what she said.

The daughter of Deanna Duggar — the sister of 19 Kids and Counting patriarch Jim Bob Duggar — has blunt words for two of her cousins who’ve gotten on the wrong side of the law. Speaking with Carrie Berk on Monday’s episode of Fire Chats: The Mindfire Pod, the author and content creator offered her opinions on Josh Duggar, who is currently serving prison time on a child sexual abuse material possession conviction, and Joseph Duggar, who has been charged in two separate cases with child endangerment and child molestation.

Regarding Josh’s repeated attempts to appeal his conviction, Amy offered, “Give it a rest already... I find it comical at this stage of his sentence. Like just rot in there.” And regarding the alleged victim in Joseph’s Florida child molestation case case coming forward to tell her story, Amy said, “I’m so proud of her for speaking her truth, because it is so hard to do... That kind of thing gets shunned. You get shunned for telling the truth. So I hope justice is served ice cold.”

The Duggar family was catapulted into the national spotlight when a reality show centering on their lives, originally titled 17 Kids and Counting, premiered on TLC in 2008. By the time the series wrapped after 10 seasons in 2015, Jim Bob and his wife, Michelle, had two more children, with the show’s title evolving in suit from 18 Kids and Counting to 19 Kids and Counting.

TLC pulled the plug on the series in May 2015, when Josh, the eldest son of the devout Independent Baptist family, was accused of having molested five young girls — some of them his sisters. Josh publicly stated that he was “deeply sorry” for having “acted inexcusably” with regard to what he termed “my wrongdoing.” The events were alleged to have occurred between 2002 and 2003, when Josh was 14 to 15 years old.

A spinoff, Jill & Jessa: Counting On, which centered on siblings Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald, and featured all of the family members except Josh, immediately picked up where 19 Kids and Counting Left Off. The series ran from 2015-2020, until Josh was charged with receiving and possessing child sexual abuse material. He was convicted on those charges in 2021, and sentenced to 151 months in prison without the possibility of parole in 2022.

Joseph, meanwhile, was arrested in Florida in March on charges of lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim less than 12 years old and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 years or older. He was accused of asking an underage girl to sit on his lap during a 2020 family vacation and allegedly “[grazing] her genitals.”

A handful of days later, Joseph and his wife, Kendra Duggar, were arrested on a separate set of child abuse charges. Joseph has been charged with four counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of second-degree false imprisonment.

“I grew up with this person and I loved this person, and I thought I knew this person,” Amy said of Joseph on The Mindfire Pod. While not an immediate member of Jim Bob and Michelle’s family, she frequently featured on both 19 Kids and Counting and Counting On. “Even though we haven’t spoken in, you know, five, six years now, you just assume that they’re doing great. You just assume that they’re they’re happily married, they love their kids, it’s a wonderful environment.”

“It breaks your heart to find out that that might not be the case,” Amy continued, clarifying that she is not in touch with Joseph, Josh, or Kendra Duggar. “It’s honestly not worth it. I have nothing to say to any of them right now,” she explained.

Amy also claimed that she reached out to Joseph’s alleged victim, making it “very clear where I stand, and she was very appreciative. I’ve never experienced the things she’s experienced, but I know she’s such a young girl, and all eyes are on her. It’s scary. I told her I’m so proud of her because she didn’t have to speak out. She could have stayed quiet and given him all the power. Instead, she realized what was wrong and what needed to be said, and she wasn’t scared. I wanted to encourage her as she goes forward in this trial: Don’t let up. Give it all you’ve got. Be a little spitfire and speak your truth.”
