With Brie Larson enjoying a chemist-turned-cook on Lessons in Chemistry, and Jimmy Kimmel being an obsessive newbie chef, the conversation above was all the time more likely to turn to meals.
However then Kimmel starts speaking about eggs, and issues take a turn. "I need to know, once I make scrambled eggs, what is the actual greatest method to make the scrambled eggs," Kimmel starts. "And I do it very specifically: I will crack the eggs, I will put milk in there, I put salt in there, I blend it, then it needs to be 20 minutes no less than before I put it into the pan with the butter. And then I do not contact it; I simply barely transfer it within the frying pan."
Larson's reaction? "Oh...um...that sounds good? I assumed we have been in a bit and now I am unsure if we are."
Later Kimmel returns to the eggs, asking Larson to "take into consideration my eggs technique" as he's saying goodbye to her.
"I will, I will — perhaps not in the ways you need me to, but I'll," Larson replies. "Next time I depart my eggs sitting for 20 minutes I am going to consider you."
