The WNBA players' union did not hold back in calling out a USA Today columnist for fueling the narrative of racism, homophobia, and misogynism in the league amid Caitlin Clark's meteoric rise. Christine Brennan, who is also writing a book about Clark's impact on women's basketball, spoke to DiJonai Carrington about a play involving the rookie sensation during Sunday's Game 1. After asking the Connecticut Sun star if she caught Clark's eye with her hand on purpose, Carrington immediately denied any malicious intent.
