Scott McTominay kisses the badge after scoring his first goal for Napoli following an assist from former Man United team-mate Romelu Lukaku
Scott McTominay scored the first goal of his Napoli career on Thursday night in a 5-0 victory over Palermo in the Coppa Italia. This was only the 27-year-old Scotland midfielder's third appearance for Napoli since he joined from Manchester United for £25.7million last month. His goal arrived in the 77th minute following an assist by one of his former United team-mates. Romelu Lukaku - who was based at Old Trafford between 2017 and 2019 - displayed impressive pace and strength to get the better of Pietro Ceccaroni, before pulling the ball back for McTominay to fire home from 10 yards.
